A Play Gets Murdered
A Little Ditty About Jacques And Diane
Condensed One Act (Approx 15 mins)

The play itself is a play within a play. It is opening night of the play "A Little Ditty About Jacques and Diane" a wonderful love story about two French kids growing up in the 14th century French heartland. They were best friends, but separated at a young age when Jacques’ father took the family to America. He has now returned and Jacques and Diane fall in love. However, everything falls apart when "Jacques" takes advantage of a situation at the end of act 1. Act 2 does not go as planned. A neurotic director, a shy stage manager, misused props, characters assuming each other's roles including dressing as them, and an improvised costume all lead to the play's tragic (yet hilarious) finale. This play will have audience members barking, I mean laughing their heads off.
